Putting It to the Test

I recently took my 10-month-old grandson, Max, to McDonald’s for lunch. The GillyGro really proved its worth that day. Setting Max up in the built-in highchair was a breeze, and the backpack was quickly attached to the restaurant chair. Max was safe, comfortable, and happily occupied with a soft book and a couple of small toys clipped onto the D-rings at the top of the bag. Any grandparent will tell you how helpful it is to keep toys from ending on the floor!

Additionally, I have to say that my favorite part of the backpack is the built-in diaper-changing mat. Great for the park, a rest station, or visiting family, it provides a clean, designated area for diapering and even snack time. There’s no need to search for an acceptable space for changing when on the move, as it gets folded easily. Best of all, it is the perfect area for taking a quick nap.

Helpful Hint: If you’re in a restaurant or a busy public space, you can use the clips on the backpack straps to attach the bag to the back of a chair, keeping it secure and within reach. The keychain lanyard is also a great feature, ensuring your keys stay safe and easy to grab.
