GillyGro Parent Backpack_2025 NAPPA Award Winner

The GillyGro Pro is a 5-in-1 solution with the built-in booster (with a built 5-point seat harness) that includes the FlexPack organizer with handles for easy transfer from bag to bag, insulated bottle pockets, and even has a 13” pocket for a laptop.

“On the outside, it looks like any other backpack, but this packs all kinds of surprises.”

“This convertible backpack is outstanding. It is attractive as a backpack. From the exterior, we see the typical side pockets that can hold a water bottle on one side and wipes on the other (with a nifty zipper slot for wipes). The back of the backpack has a zipper along the perimeter that when unzipped reveals a large water-resistant mat. It large enough for a few kids to have a picnic, change a diaper, lie down on, etc. It’s attached to the backpack with a zipper, which I like because the weight of the backpack keeps the mat in place, but I like that you can unzip to wash it. The interior of the backpack is roomy and kept open (i.e. it doesn’t collapse on itself) by the built-in booster seat which is a plastic base that acts like a booster when used in high chair mode. The front of the back pack has a set of zippers that when unzipped reveals the 5-point harness for the high chair/booster and straps to secure it to a chair. It is a genius idea. The backpack also comes with a organizer insert that has insulated compartments to keep things cold and a bevy of other pockets to store everything that kids need. This is an ultrafunctional piece.”
